S$90 for a full physical is an out-and-out
steal! Is you health insurance picking up part or
all of the tab?
It's a tie-up between the university and some private clinic in
Orchard.
All staff and students can claim for a free basic checkup. They
also offered a heavily-discounted price of $40 for an
'intermediate' checkup, and $90 for the full package.
I figured that since it's a one-off thing, I might as well sign
up for all the bells and whistles. After all, the basic checkup is
so basic that I can do it on myself during the next In-Camp
Training.
Anyway, $90 is pretty cheap, considering that something similar
might cost $300+ elsewhere.
